Our Unique Workshops
Will Change the Way you Lead
Lori Holmes, a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator, delivers unique Dare to Lead™ workshops you will not find elsewhere. Dare to Lead™ is a skills-based courage-building program. When participants attend our workshop, they are taught the skills, practices, and tools that underpin the four skill sets of courage. In order to translate individual learning into tangible leadership skills and actions, we add customized experiential activities, exercises, and practice sessions to the core Dare to Lead™ content.
But we aren't done helping you become a daring leader. The key to becoming daring leaders is identifying actions, adopting behaviors, and hands-on skills practice in your work environment (and in your life). We allow time in our workshops to identify those commitments. We offer individual coaching to support you on your journey. It’s not one-and-done; it requires repeated practice to get it right. (And sometimes it requires getting it wrong and trying again.)

About Lori Holmes: Lori has lived in the arena as a senior leader at a Fortune 50 company and has first-hand experience with the challenges of rumbling with vulnerability, living into values, building trust, and rising in tough corporate environments and rapidly changing organizations. Her defining leadership moments were those that required courage, a keen sense of direction, tough decisions, transparency, and compassion. Lori’s real-world experience, stories from the arena, and practical style are a powerful combination when combined with Dr. Brené Brown’s empirically based content.
Lori became a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator in March 2019 after being selected and trained by Dr. Brené Brown. She has facilitated hundreds of events, coached over a thousand leaders, and has delivered ten Dare to Lead workshops ranging from 2-16 hours and 5-200 attendees. Her clients include Intel Corporation, ServiceNow, Adobe, UBS, Upward Global Network for executive women, and individuals through open enrollment workshops.
Through Aspire Workshops, Lori is lifting-up leaders, managers, and individuals as they forge their path with clarity and courage See full bio here

About the Dare to Lead Program
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.
Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. Brené is also a visiting professor in management at The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business.
She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy and is the author of five #1 New York Times bestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and her latest book, Dare to Lead, which is the culmination of a seven-year study on courage and leadership.
The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, training, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.
Individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour Dare to Lead program will receive a certificate of completion and are allowed to put a Dare to Lead Trained badge on their LinkedIn account. Further information is available at daretolead.brenebrown.com
